Job Title: Soft Services Manager

Work Location: Gretna

Division/Department: Operations, Scottish Region

Reports to: Account Manager

Hours: 40h

Due to our continued growth we have a new exciting job opportunity as a Soft Services Manager.

The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the management of soft services at a large retail site.

You will work closely with the Account Manager and Regional Manager in Scotland and support the clients requests along with internal departments and supply chain.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the soft services management of a large retail site for a major account.
  • Share best practice on National Account
  • Leading, coaching, developing and mentoring the onsite team
  • Successful delivery of all client and contractor KPI and SLA targets
  • Lead and drive performance improvements in supply chain
  • Management of all associated site budgets
  • Manage employee rotas to ensure site cover
  • Monitoring of all soft services related spending against budget and forecast
  • Effective management of the security services for the client
  • Review soft services supplier contract agreements and commercial terms and conditions
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation
  • Regular reporting and soft services update meetings
  • Site Soft Services contract reviews
  • Customer interface and challenge performance
  • Responsible for own administration

Person Specification:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and influencing skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role
  • Minimum 2 years’ management experience
  • H&S qualification IOSH, NEBOSH etc. (Not essential)
  • Experience of change management
  • Excellent IT literacy skills on Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
  • SIA licence required

Salary: £27,500.00-£32,500.00 per year
