4 Hour Sales Associate

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
• Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise and services
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing store layout
• Handle transactions accurately using the till and manage cash effectively
• Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Organise stock levels and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work atmosphere

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
• Proven organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and stockroom
• Experience in merchandising is an advantage but not essential
• A friendly disposition with a genuine interest in helping customers
