Joules began in 1989 when Tom Joule set up a stand at a rural show.

He understood that his customers led interesting, cultured and well-travelled lifestyles, and he saw that his products had appeal far beyond the field in which he was trading. With a keen understanding of his customers’ lifestyles and a passion for reimagining British classics, Tom built a brand defined by colour, craftsmanship, and an unmistakable sense of character.

More than three decades later, that spirit endures. Today, Joules honours its heritage while reinventing the art of well-dressed time off, with a fresh take on preppy British style. We are a brand rooted in authenticity, dedicated to making everyday style feel effortless, and uniquely Joules.
